So there was tremendous barking at the front door. The kind of bark that sounds furious and frustrated all at the same time. As I rushed to the front door, I figured out why.

Double Brook FarmBut then I saw what they were actually doing. The Toms were providing a distraction for predators because our one remaining turkey hen has had a bunch of poults!

Double Brook FarmShe disappeared and we feared for the worst, but she was just hiding out and sitting on a nest behind the barn. I love these little guys. All legs feathers.
