Don't forget to order your bird!

We are taking Thanksgiving orders through the Brick Farm Market/Farm Works website until (maybe partly through) the weekend as we get ready for the busiest days of the year on the farm: turkey harvest.

Once again, all Thanksgiving orders will be picked up at the Brick farm Market at 65 East Broad Street. Many items will be grab and go (plus extras of sides and turkeys for walk-in, last-minute panic shopping) such as baked goods, sausages, sides, gravy and more. We can't wait to see you there. Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday! Subliminal message: Bring Bags, Bring Bags, Bring Bags….

As we prep for the weekend, the birds are in more demand than ever. Les Trent came back to the farm this year for Inside Edition. The birds seemed happy to see him as he interviewed Jon for his piece. Look for the piece tonight (11/14).

In other event news. Jon will be a guest speaker (1:30pm, Nov. 21) at the Farmer Gratitude Summit November 20-22. See HIS PROFILE and a video of when he was still working in NYC here. A life time ago! The event will be available virtually and there is an excellent lineup of ‘stars' in the farming world. What better way to kick off the Thanksgiving week??!

Hope you can tune in!

We love the bustle of Thanksgiving and the all-hands-on-deck vibe, but are looking forward to getting back to our regularly scheduled programming with the other animals. Next week, the brood hens and some toms will head to pasture to create next year's turkeys and the sheep will be coming into the barn to lamb. The cycle never ends.
