I took a ride up to the vegetable fields on one of the recent warm days to capture the most beautiful things in the field – our flowers.
They are in all shapes and sizes, but so colorful and bright. I was especially taken with this one.
The Cockscomb (or Celosia Cristata) is so bright, velvety and close up, almost like a fine fur…
Flowers packing a little less punch, but adding delicate hues to the arrangements we sell at the Brick Farm Market are abound in the garden.
And Lindsay puts them all together in beautiful bunches.
Working on the edibles are Andrea, Patrick and Chris.
It takes a lot of careful grooming to keep the tender lettuces happy and healthy in the raised beds.
But the end result is delicious!
