Well it’s time to put away the cardigans and long-sleeved shirts. It’s smoking hot out there. The moment has come to find a hammock and just let the days pass you by.
Taylor and the pasture crew have moved animals to shade. I like the steer in the creek in the opening of the trees. He simply would not look at me to have his picture taken. I guess it’s too hot for Paparazzi!
Always anxious to see what vegetables are coming in this week, I checked in with John, Justin and Ian. They were getting the baby fennel ready for the market (and the juicer!).
Ian, John and Justin.
They were nice enough to answer my many questions before getting back to it.
Charlton also had his team readying herbs and flowers for the market. Beautiful lavender, herbs of all kinds and gorgeous Yarrow flowers (see below), which will be part of bouquets this weekend at the market, along with wild Bergamot flowers.
The herbs looked so fresh and smelled amazing.
Looks like Patrick, Brianna and Julia were having fun!
