Stepping into Fall…And Thanksgiving

Too soon? Not for us! It is barreling toward November 27. Our favorite holiday – Thanksgiving – where we get together, enjoy each other, and cook up all the local goodness that we and our farm friends grow. NJ has so much to offer from now through November! So…of course we are partnering with Otto and Maria at Brick Farm Tavern and Hopewell Fare in Hopewell, to take and fulfill turkey orders.

Click HERE to see the order page for turkeys, sides, and desserts.

As always, our Heritage turkeys are born and raised on the farm, out on pasture, in the fresh air and sunshine. They hatch in February-March and grow up to be real troublemakers by November. You may recall that they travelled en masse to a nearby house and attacked their reflection on our neighbor's car last year. Not once, but 3 times.

Pickup will be at the Hopewell Fare in Hopewell (same location as always). 65 E. Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ. More details to follow, but ordering is up now!

In addition to ordering through the Brick Farm Tavern Website and Maria's Hopewell Website, you will also be able to order at the Princeton Farmer's Market through the order code that we will have on hand. Ask William for more details (every Thursday 10am-3pm at Hinds Plaza by the Princeton Library).

We can't wait to share our delicious turkeys with you!

Now that we've turned the corner on the harshest of conditions, the cycle begins again. Preparations ...

Waiting out the freeze

It's been cold. Real cold. The kind of cold that has texture and sticks to you when you come inside. Alternatively, the kind of cold that lets you know if dental work is imminent. The kind of cold…well, you know how cold it's been. We have seen some intense weeks ...

Ready for 2026

Happy Holidays to everyone! Even though our nuclear family was far and wide, we had a whole flock of friends and extended family here to celebrate the season. Quiet and fun. Fun enough that the cleanse is actually starting BEFORE Jan 1. It's an emergency. We are getting ready for ...
