Double Brook FarmSo, I learned yesterday that one must never EVER use St PATTY’s Day. The two ‘t’s indicate a connection to Patricia, not Patrick. It’s PADDY. After posting this offense on the Brick Farm Market Facebook page, I am preparing for the wrath of the Irish, drinking my Guinness.

Molly and Ian, you’ll be happy to know I have researched the issue and am now set straight. Guidelines below:

We will endure one more day – ONE MORE, I TELL YE! – of cold weather. Actually that’s all us farmers decided we would endure. Then spring needs to be spring. Eggs need to be collected, livestock needs to be moved and grass needs to grow.

And don’t forget to call the butcher at the market (609) 466-6500 to place orders for spring lamb, hams and other goodies for your Easter feast!
