Double Brook FarmIt’s getting close to Thanksgiving! That means it’s time to order your FRESH, pasture-raised, hormone-and-antibiotic-free, heritage bird. We get the tiny poults in May…

Double Brook Farm…and raise them until the week before Thanksgiving. Right here in Hopewell!

Double Brook FarmWe are proud of the flock we raise each year, as the poults come from Good Shepherd Poultry Ranch in Kansas. The farmer, Frank Reese, is a legendary poultry man and he is passionate about heritage breeds and raising the healthiest, most natural birds he can. And he doesn’t ship. We have to drive out in a big van and make the 20-hour trek to bring them to Hopewell. This is a smelly, noisy drive with the heat on as high as it will go to keep the young turkeys warm. A marathon of sorts. But it’s worth it.

Double Brook FarmSo how to order? Well, there are 3 ways to get Double Brook turkeys from our partner, the Brick Farm Market, in Hopewell.

1) Order ONLINE with the Brick Farm Market. You can reserve your turkey HERE as well as all the sides, hors d’oeuvres, sweets, breads, pies and more that you might need. Click here for full menu. *A $20 deposit is taken at this time and the balance of your order will be paid at pickup.

2) Come to the Brick Farm Market and place your order at the butcher counter. We will have plenty of menus available here for perusing all the other dishes and goodies we have for Thanksgiving. 65 East Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ.

3) Call the Brick Farm Market and ask to speak with the butcher. (609) 466-6500.

Pickup for turkeys will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 23, 24 and 25 from 7am – 7pm). Pickup for sides and other orders will be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 25, from 7am – 7pm).
