Its going to be a hot week and weekend. We prepare on the farm by moving animals to wooded areas and bringing in shade wagons for a respite from the sun.
The pigs always appreciate a nice, goopy wallow in which to cool down.
And the chickens have the chicken mobile, which has shade and nice airflow underneath.
But most enterprising animals wait out the day in the shade, and come out at dusk to graze.
Or just to hang out, cool down…and play.
