It's been pretty dry recently, which made last week's end-of-season shower so welcome and so spectacular.
But life goes on as usual at the farm. In these dry conditions, we spend a lot of time filling up wallows for the pigs in the woods.
They immediately find their way to the goopy, cooling mud…
And settle in for a good, long soak. Sometimes, if there is not a natural wallow to be had, the pigs get inventive.
This sow and her piglets took turns ‘bathing' in the tub that Brett filled regularly. Ahhhhh.
