Our first calf born on the farm for quite a while. Any name suggestions?? He is a Jersey-Brown Swiss cross and very cute – just hours old!
Swiss Miss is a good mother and quite protective. 
Even as Brett was moving her calf.
And especially when the dogs came roaming near. Sassy and Fiona are a rambunctious Mother-Daughter team.
Fiona hopped into the water for a quick dip.
And Brett finished pouring out the minerals for the cattle, sheep and goats.
And it was time for all to settle back down and beat the heat…
